ABOUT LOULOU

Founded in 2012, Loulou was conceived as a house where fashion is made with intention. In our atelier, each piece begins as a sketch and is brought to life only when a woman chooses it — never before. No excess. No stockrooms. Only garments made to order, shaped by the hands of skilled artisans, each seam carrying the precision of couture. Over more than a decade, we have crossed seasons, markets, and continents, guided by a singular vision: to create for women who see clothing not as trend, but as an extension of their own story. From the first fitting to the final stitch, Loulou remains a promise — personal, exacting, and quietly radical in its refusal to compromise.

ABOUT ANDRA

Andra Turcanu, founder and creative director, has always treated Loulou as both a brand and a dialogue — between herself, her craft, and the women who wear her designs. In early 2024, she stepped away from the house she built, a rare and deliberate silence. It was a moment of distance, of reflection, of imagining what Loulou could become beyond its first chapter. When she returned in 2025, it was with a new energy: collections bolder in cut, sharper in detail, deeper in meaning. She brought back not just a brand, but a renewed way of working — one that marries the intimacy of couture with an unshakable commitment to the planet, and to the women who trust her vision. Under her direction, Loulou moves forward with the certainty of a house that knows where it stands, and exactly where it is going.

THE LOULOU WAY

At Loulou, time is part of the design. Every garment is created from the ground up — sketched, cut, sewn, and finished entirely by hand for the woman who has chosen it. This process cannot be hurried without losing the very qualities that make it ours. We do not work in seasons of excess, but in rhythms of craftsmanship, where each order is a singular project in our atelier. It may mean waiting a little longer to receive your piece, but what arrives is not simply clothing — it is the result of hours of skilled work, fine detailing, and the quiet devotion of the hands that made it. For us, true luxury is not only in the fabric or the fit, but in knowing that what you wear was created for you, and you alone.
